FAQ

How do I place an order?
You can place your order directly via www.papaya.nl/catering. Alternatively, you can email us with your preferred eating date and time, chosen buffet, number of guests, delivery address and any invoice details.
When should I place my order?
As early as possible — you can reserve the eating date with an estimated number of guests. The exact number can be confirmed up to 3 days before the event at the latest.
What is your delivery area and what are the delivery costs?
We deliver buffets within a 7-kilometre radius of one of our locations. Beyond that, €4.00 per kilometre is charged.
Is waiting staff included?
Catering is provided without waiting staff. Unfortunately it is not possible to add serving staff.
Are plates and cutlery included with the catering?
Porcelain plates and stainless steel cutlery are not included as standard. You can add them for €1.80 per set.
Do the trays need to be returned clean?
The chafing dishes (warmers), trays and any plates and cutlery do not need to be returned clean. Please do empty any leftover food before returning.
Is it possible to hire waiting staff separately?
Unfortunately it is not possible to hire waiting staff separately.
When will the equipment be collected?
Equipment is normally collected the same evening. If that is not convenient, you can arrange an alternative time with us.
How can I pay?
You can pay directly by iDEAL when placing your order — you will immediately benefit from a €2.50 discount. Payment in cash or by card on delivery is also possible (card payments currently Rotterdam only).
Are there cancellation costs?
Cancellation policy:
• More than one week before the eating date: 0%
• One day before the eating date: 50% of the total bill
• On the eating date itself: 100% of the total bill
Do you also provide catering on Sundays and public holidays?
Yes, we provide catering on Sundays and public holidays too. Please bear in mind that these days are busy — we recommend reserving your date in advance to avoid disappointment.
